I just told myself that I HAD to blog today. :D

2 reasons. First, today is a special day cause its February 29th! :D it only comes once in 4 years, so if you don't blog now, we have to wait for ANOTHER 4 years. I'll be like...18 then? Hahas. I wonder if I will still have this blog by then. I hope so!! I wanna have 1000 entries. But now I don't even have a 100 yet! :( Anyways, the other reason is that today is the last day for February, and if i blog today I get to add another entry to my February archive. And of course, one more step closer to my goal. :D

Anyways, today was the General Leadership Programme, aka means the hike. :D Read this: IT TOTALLY ROCKED!!!!! LIKE, OMG!!! :D:D:D:D IT ROCKS. I had such a memorable day today! :D Okay, I shall type everything from beginning to end for you. :D

So anyways,we got our class T-shirt today. Its actually quite nice, there's some colour on it. On the front it says:" Someday you'll know, TwoTwo's love can move a mountain." :) And behind its of course everybody's names and there's this splot of green at the bottom. And there's also a black barcode with a pink heart in it, and underneath it says TwoTwo'08. :D Its very nice. :D I ordered S but somehow it was like, a bit big for me. :( Maybe I should have ordered XS! :( Ah wells. OH, and the absolutely depressing and utterly saddening fact about the hike was: COOKIE DIDN'T COME!!!! :(:(:(:( SO SAD!!! :( it could have been so much funner if she came. *sighs* because of her high fever. :( :(:( Sad, sad. :( Anyways, we assembled at the hall, where Mr David (trainer from last year!) briefed us about everything. We had to form a group of 12, so the people in my group were Eunice, Florence, Joycelyn, Shanatic, Clara, Chun Xiao, Elyssia, Ah Man, Purple Monkey, Amanda, Shermaine and me. :D Our trainer was called Vasu. :D He's very nice and funny. :D Our group name was Ali Baba and the 12 thieves. :D Adapted from Florence from History. :D Hahas! :D I came up with the 12 thieves part though, so smart of moi. :D Anyways, we sat off!! :D:D:D The bus was very comfortable, both to and fro. Sat with Chun Xiao cause she wanted me to send her Fahrenheit songs. Mr Jiow sat behind too, then Qian Ying and Wei Wei kept telling him cold jokes about MacDonald's and buns and many other stuff! :D LOL! :D Wei Wei even managed to work out his age!! :D:D:D

Yups, so that was the bus part. :D When we reached Macritchie Reservoir, everybody gathered and played games to see which group should go first. We played games like Simon Says and Ajinomoto! :D Which was really very funny. :D My group didn't win though, so had to go last, SO SAD! :( Anyways, we also took group photos and class photos. Speaking of class photos, Mr Jiow tried to scare us AGAIN! Like is he gonna do that EVERY TIME we take a class photo??? SO funny! :D But I think if he does that often then none of us would be scared anymore. The first one in school was funny. :D Yeah, and that was that. After those games, WE OFFICIALLY BEGAN OUR JOURNEY! :D

So we walked along the reservoir, trying to catch up with the groups in front of us. We had to walk carefully cause there were low branches and had to be careful not to fall in the water. Seriously, we can just top up our bottles with the water from the reservoir, cause it was like crystal clear, you can see everything underneath. :D Nothing disgusting lah, just only the bed of the reservoir. We walked and walked, and we had to pass through certain checkpoints, and then ask Vasu to sign it. :D We had to walk through forests which were absolutely rocky and leafy and very dirty. And you can hardly see any light cause the trees around you are so tall they blocked all the light. And Purple Monkey got attacked by REAL monkeys cause they saw the 100-plus in her hand!!! AHHH!!! Stupid monkeys. Don't they have enough food in the forest already?? Shi Ting got a bit of a scratch, but its nothing much. :D We had to walk for like, almost 16 KM!!! :O:O:O SO LONG!!! :D But it was damn fun. :D It really was a test of our perserverance. We had to walk past places like School Of Ammunition and the Singtel satellites. It was like a race. While we're walking through the PUB thingy, we knew the group behind us was catching up cause we heard them set off the alarm!! It was scary, cause we couldn't touch the fence in case we set off the alarm. The paths that we took were long and rocky, leafy and branchy. :D But it was adventurous and I LOVED that. I also especially like the part where there were slippery slopes and everyone helped one another by holding hands and giving support. I love it how everyone works together! :D I LOVE teamwork. :D We had to pass by many checkpoints, it wasn't before long we got tired. But we still finished the whole thing in the end. :D Then poor Shanatic sprained her legs!!!! :(:(:( But she was still very brave by helping our team and completing the entire course, even though I can tell that it hurts alot. :( It was like 1.00pm when we reached the lunch spot, so we practically hiked for 5 hours or so!!! Like, OMG! :D The lunch was okay, there was fish, fishcake and brocolli. And then Mr Jiow was like videoing all of us eating and then he said he wanted to show the whole class next week! :O GOSH!!!! And then he somehow got followed by a HUGE bee whon apparently likes him alot, so then WE videoed him!!! HAHAH! :D And then Florence was also freaked out by the bee and other people too, cause we were sitting on the floor for our lunch and then there were many insects. Yeah, so finished our lunch before the monkeys could pounce on us and went on with our trail. By this time, we were already halfway to Bukit Timah Hill! :D

So anyways continued walking. Blah Blah Blah...and we walked through this weird forest which actually had a deserted TOILET in it, which was like real funny! Chun Xiao said there used to be a house and it sounds kind of freaky. :O Anyways, we also had to climb up this TALL tower, and we had to count the steps. It was actually 108 steps and it was so tall!! We managed to climb to the peak, and OH MAN, you can practically see the ENTIRE FOREST!!! Scary but cooling at the same time. :D I think there's really nothing much later on....and when we came to Bukit Timah Hill, we rested at a shelter where they sold drinks and snacks and we could go to the toilet, but I wasn't hungry and thirsty, BUT I still wanted to buy something!! In the end I decided not to buy anything and went to the toilet instead. :) And you know what?? The way UP Bukit Timah Hill was SO STEEP!!!! Its like, practically vertical. It was really hard, going against gravity (LOL!) We tried walking backwards, thinking it would help but actually it just made us more tired. :( Anyways, we were like the 5th group to reach the summit, but it really didn't matter to me cause it was the fun that mattered. :D It was really an enriching experience!! :D:D:D Then we were given this survivor test thingy about what we should bring with us in case our plance crashes in the North Pole. There were things like compass, navigation book, rubber inner tube, axe, matchsticks, water purification tablets, alarm clock, snow shoes, rum and canvas sheet. WHOA, I actually can remember! :D Vasu said the compass was no use at all, cause we're ALREADY in the North, so what's the use of a compass? Like, what's the South of North? Funny! :D Before we left, we took a class photo around a rock that says Bukit Timah Hill Summit and it also states like how tall is it and stuff. And guess what? Mr Jiow scared us AGAIN. See what I mean? :D Hahas! :D I can't believe I fell for it. I didn't fall for the first one though. :D

ALL IN ALL, it was an absolutely FABULOUS day. It was the first time EVER I hiked for such a long distance and I went up to Bukit Timah Hill. :D So it was really memorable for me. :D IT WAS SO FUN!!! :D:D:D I really WOULD love to go again on another type of programme. :D

Wow, this is like a really long post. You know I was thinking when I was bathing, is it possible for me to blog everyday for one month?? I think I can try that next month, which is also tomorrow. :D I can't wait to watch Leap Years with Riley!!! SO EXCITED!!!!! :D::D:D:D:D:D
